Cold hands, warm heart.

D.I.Y. Coffee Mug

Finally getting around to posting some goodies that I have been holding on to! This was a little treat that I just couldn't spoil for my mother earlier on (and then I forgot about posting the poor thing). Shortly before her birthday, my mom's treasured coffee maker made its final brew and went out with a bang. Luckily my dad spoiled her for her birthday with a brand new Keurig and all the other little trinkets you could possibly include with it! She became OBSESSED. Like we're talking caffeine style binge drinking madness ( the PG stuff). I don't know what I was thinking with this gift because I felt like I was fueling her fire more but hey, at least she was appreciative (:

What you need:
Sharpie Permanent Marker
Ceramic Mug(s)

Steps to take:
  1.  Thoroughly clean your mug, being sure to remove any and all oils and other residue that may be on the surface that will be written on.
  2. Once the mug is completely clean, you may then begin to write or draw the design of your choosing (you can even write on the inside!).
  3. Once the marker has dried on the surface, place the mug in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit and set your timer for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn off the oven and let the mug cool off completely before removing it.
  5. Your design should now be permanently set on the surface!

Time to enjoy or give to others to enjoy your B-E-A-UTIFUL new creation!
Happy Crafting!

All That Glitters, xox
